Abstract:
Sustainable Development - achieving universal human prosperity while conserving the Earth's natural systems - is the defining challenge of our time. Prof. Jeffrey Sachs has been leading the thinking and policy making on these issues for decades. In his talk, he will review the current status of global efforts with a focus on Israel's potential contribution, especially by researchers and students.
