Federico Gonzalez Waite is currently the Deputy Chief Technology Officer at the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food, a unit from the Federal Executive Branch of the Govern​​ment of Mexico; prior to this role he was the Director for Security Information and Strategic Planning (cyber security) of the Secretariat. He credits that during his time at the International Program in Conflict Resolution and Mediation in Tel Aviv University he gained vast theoretical and practical skills which today help him understand how to manage complex institutional relationships and mediate between different stakeholders including government employees, politicians and private citizens in the field. Through these skills and his experiences at TAU Federico has been able to develop innovative systems for the Secretariat that enable the reduction of corruption loopholes, establish a secure cyber governance structure and establish a reference point for future policy in Mexico.​  For more information on Federico, see his LinkedIn page.
