Applying with another Social Science degree
An applicant who has an MA degree in a different subject
Candidates who do not have a master's degree in the Conflict Resolution program, or an equivalent program, but who have an appropriate academic background in the field of social sciences, may apply to be admitted as phase 1 research students on a conditional basis. In order to remove the condition, the candidates will be required to complete four core courses of the program totaling at least 8 credits according to the supervisor's recommendation, with a final grade of at least 90%. These courses will not be counted in the required courses for the Ph.D. For these students, it is mandatory to complete four of the following five courses:
- Political Approaches to International Conflicts (2 credits)
- Socio-Psychological Theories of Conflict Resolution (2 credits)
- International Law and Conflict Resolution (2 credits)
- Islamic and Jewish Approaches to Conflict (2 credits)
- Principles and Processes of Negotiation in Conflict Resolution (2 credits)
