Natalie's path

Natalie studied a BA in political science and history in Canada and was involved in student leadership throughout her undergraduate studies. In addition, she completed two study abroad programs in Turkey and Poland. Natalie applied for the Conflict Resolution and Mediation program to gain knowledge in Middle Eastern politics. During her time in the program, she studied Political Aspects of Conflict, Humanitarian Aid, Coping Mechanisms in Conflict and Arab Political Systems. Natalie was also involved in local grass-root NGOs focusing on the Palestinian-Israeli narrative in both Tel Aviv and Ramallah.  After completing the MA program, Natalie began her career in International Development in Kabul Afghanistan as a National Programme Coordinator in the Education Department with the Aga Khan Foundation. Today, she lives and works in the Gaza strip as a Grants and Compliance Coordinator with Oxfam. Her future long-term goals include returning to Law School to focus on international law and land rights.
