Steven Gassenberger is currently a Policy Analyst at a think tank called Reason Foundation.
After graduating from the International Program in Conflict Resolution and Mediation, he began his career as a Legislative Associate at Stateside Associates in 2013. Stateside Associates is the largest state government affairs firm offering deep expertise in the core services, strategies and execution of state and local government relations. As a Senior Associate, Steven has lead a team of associates in tracking privacy and education issues across the United States. Between 2015 and 2018, Steven moved on to Xerox as a Manager in Advocacy and Public Affairs.
By utilizing his expertise in conflict analysis, Steven was able to consult with fortune 500 companies and trade organizations as to the best methods to approach intractable policy controversies in all 50 states. He is committed to finding sustainable policy solutions through the inclusion of all parties interested in policy that impacts multiple generations and affects international trade and commerce.
Steven received his M.A. in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Tel Aviv University in 2010, after graduating from the University of New Orleans with a BA degree in International Relations: Diplomacy & International Organizations.
