Lene Hansen is a Professor of International Relations at the University of Copenhagen. She is interested in security and the history of security studies; international relations theory with an emphasis on poststructuralism, feminism and constructivism; and the development of qualitative methodologies.
She is the author of Security as Practice: Discourse Analysis and the Bosnian War (with Barry Buzan) and The Evolution of International Security Studies. She is currently working on a book on images andinternational security.
