TAU - RAU research worksop
Students from conflict regions for conflict resolution
The Conflict Resolution and Mediation program was happy to host a delegation of researchers and students from the Russian-Armenian University in Yerevan, Armenia, reciprocating a similar workshop that took place in Armenia last year. This week-long workshop enabled students from both universities to investigate the Palestinian - Israeli conflict in depth, through academic discussions and exploratory field trips.
The workshop was inaugurated by Prof. Itai Sened, Dean of the Gershon H. Faculty of Social Sciences and Hon. Armen Akopian, Armenia's Ambassador to Israel, who also hosted the group in Jerusalem.
The researchers involved in the workshop:
TAU: Dr. Nimrod Rosler, Head of the International Program in Conflict Resolution and Mediation and Dr. Boaz Hameiri, Head of the Israeli Program in Conflict Resolution and Mediation.
RAU: Prof. Gagik Ghalachyan, Head of World Politics and International Relations Department and Dr. Ruben Elmirian.
