Congratulations to our PhD student Francesca Fassbender

Our new Conflict Resolution PhD program started in 2023, and we are delighted to share the wonderful news about the first publication in a top tier journal by one of our students. The paper by Ms. Francesca Fassbender, in collaboration with her adviser Professor Udi Sommer, was just accepted for publication in one of the top journals in the discipline, World Development. World Development Journal has an impact Factor of 6.9, it is ranked 4th in Development and 25/381 in Economics. Apart from its very strong impact factor and high ranking, the topic of the research is particularly interesting and timely;  the article discusses questions of sustainability in the context of the Abraham Accords between Israel and the United Arab Emirates. 

Francesca Fassbender was one of our top MA students in the International MA in Conflict Resolution and Mediation and is now a PhD student in the PhD in Conflict Management and Mediation with Professor Udi Sommer as her adviser.
